Ark Surgical was founded combining deep surgical experience with innovative design to change the standard of care in gynecology.
LapBox® was born from real clinical need.
Dr. Avi Yarri, a Connecticut-based GYN surgeon, recognized the lack of safe and simple containment tools during minimally invasive surgery. His goal was clear: empower surgeons to reduce the need for open procedures and improve outcomes for women everywhere.
OUR SOLUTION
In response to the U.S. FDA’s call for safer morcellation practices, we developed LapBox®
LapBox® is the only tissue containment system featuring a secure, dual-wall “bag-in-bag” design that minimizes the risk of tissue spillage during laparoscopic procedures.
LapBox® is engineered for both manual and power morcellation, with a focus on ease-of-use, control, and protection. Our intuitive delivery system supports seamless workflow integration, allowing gynecologists to perform complex procedures with greater safety and confidence.
